Calendar of Events
Humorology, or “Humo” for short, is an annual musical/variety show that takes place at the University of Wisconsin – Madison in April of each year. Humorology has been a UW – Madison tradition since 1948, touching the lives of students and the community through the friendships that are made, and funds that are raised.
Funds raised in 2019 will benefit Badger Childhood Cancer Network.

Fishing for families
August 4, 2019
This popular annual fundraiser for Badger Childhood Cancer Network (BCCN)brings fishing enthusiasts and their fans out to compete for the best bass! Thanks to sponsors, Don’s Marine, Yamaha, Skeeter and Tri-City Bass, funds from this tournament have been raised to support BCCN’s valuable programs. There is plenty of fun to be had at this event, hosted by Remi’s Thirsty Moose in Poynette on beautiful Lake Wisconsin (N3135 Hwy V).
Fishing, music, raffles, food/drink, games and kids’ activities are sure
to entertain all participants.
Anglers wishing to participate will need to gather a five boat team and a
sponsor(s) to donate $700 to BCCN. The $700 can be collected from
either one or two sponsors but no more than two. Individual boats not able
to put together a 5 boat team can also participate for $140 donated by a
sponsor. Event organizers will assign individual boats to partial teams as
needed. NEW FOR 2019!!! Each angler will receive one ticket entry into the

BCCN serves families from all over Wisconsin and several northern Illinois
counties whose child has been diagnosed with cancer or a life threatening
blood disorder. BCCN provides family support and financial services to
patients from infancy to 18 years of age who are on treatment at the
American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, WI. The number of families
served is upwards of 300 in any given year.
SUPERHERO Run September 14th, 2019
The Badger Childhood Cancer Network Superhero Run helps us raise awareness on the impact of childhood cancer on families in the Madison area. This event raises critical funds for the Badger Childhood Cancer Network’s programs that provide information, emotional support, emergency financial aid, and transportation assistance for families of children with cancer and blood disorders.
To make the event even more family friendly, this year’s event will be a Fun Run/Walk and won’t be timed. The money saved will directly benefit the families that need it.

- 10:30 am: Superhero Run Starts (Awareness Walk to Begin After Runners Clear Starting Line)
